The E4As program (English for Arabic speakers)

The E4As program (English for Arabic speakers)

consists of a foundational three-month period that prepares students for entry into the AEC (Arabic English Club). From the very first minute, instructors begin speaking and writing with the students. We learn a few new words with the student, introduce one grammatical rule, and start to 'dance' around them—this means engaging in varied, non-monotonous repetition with many examples. Then, we introduce another rule and a new set of vocabulary words, followed by singing and progressing to more complex sentences. By the end of these three levels, student will have acquired 750 English vocabulary words and will be able to articulate in the present continuous, simple present, simple past, and present perfect tenses, with a clear understanding of the meanings embedded within these tenses.
